Autism and NSSI- Non Suicidal Self Injury Webinar

No two people with Autism will experience life the same. For this reason, we need to understand the variances under the diagnosis.

These include: Strengths, Communication, Social Interactions, Leisure and play, Sensory influences, Thought processes, and Experiencing and Comorbidity, or the presentation of anxiety or depression, can see people on the Autism Spectrum, vulnerable to engaging in NSSI- Non-Suicidal Self Injury.

The more confident we are in our understanding of comorbidity, and NSSI, the more equipped we will be in not only identifying triggers to this behaviour but encouraging an environment of calm.
