Mindfulness – Body Scan Webinar

Michelle will lead a mindfulness session based on a body scan. You will be given the option to sit (or lie down) in a comfortable position and follow a body based awareness practice. The purpose of this session is to give you the opportunity to tune in to your body—to reconnect to your physical self—and notice any sensations you’re feeling without judgement.
Michelle Date has provided professional counselling since 2007 and has been engaged in health and wellbeing practices for more than three decades. Michelle uses a range of therapeutic approaches in her counselling practice to support clients to improve their mental health and wellbeing and manage emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress or anger
Michelle has extensive experience leading groups and working as a mentor, coach, counsellor and yoga teacher. She has also developed and facilitated specialist yoga programs for people with chronic pain, illness and injury enabling people to find steadiness in change.
Michelle loves to sing in choirs (when we can) and is (still) learning to play the Ukulele
Qualifications: MA of Counselling; Grad Dip Couns HS;BHSc; Grad Cert Family Therapy; Dip AD Advanced Somatics; Certificate IV TAE; Dip Yoga; Awakening Joy course facilitator.
