An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until November 25, 2021
Parenting Your Teenager is a 6-week supportive program for parents of teens aged 12 to 18 years.
The program aims to:
- support parents to connect and communicate with their teens
- assist parents with understanding adolescent development
- help parents to assist their teen to develop emotional intelligence
- remain empathetic and stay connected.
Healthy Minds Geelong's vision is to create a positive culture of mental health across the Geelong region.
The HMG concept was born to fill the gap in local mental health support services and in particular the need for a dedicated local information hub to help connect the community to local services, navigate the mental health care system and ultimately empower people to look after their mental health.
