Bringing Up Great Kids is a 6-week program for parents of children aged between 12 months and nine years. The program aims to: develop parents’ skills to enhance communication with their children promote positive interactions between parents and their child/ren encourage the development of a child’s positive self-identity. The HMG concept was born to fill the gap in local mental health support services and in particular the need for a dedicated local information hub to help connect the community to local services, navigate the mental health care system and ultimately empower people to look after their mental health.
